Gary Bell, President, Jackson Hospital Affiliates
Gary Bell has more than 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry, working in hospital administration, as well as with hospital mergers and acquisitions.
During his career, Bell spent 14 years as senior vice president of acquisitions with Health Management Associates (NYSE: HMA), acquiring 40 hospitals. He also held the position of chief development officer at MedCath Inc. (NASDAQ: MDTH).
Bell is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Bell has directed hospitals ranging from 50 to 400 beds. His international healthcare facility operation and consulting experience includes Saudi Arabia, Austria, United Arab Emirates, Egypt and the United Kingdom.
Bell has a Bachelor of Science from Emory University and a Masters of Health Administration from Georgia State University.
